Message from Vice Chancellor on eve of New Year 2010

“The universe might be full of opportunities. But they are visible only to those who want to see them.”
India is a developing country with more opportunities to offer now than the rest of the world. We, the engineers, must possess the vision to create the pathways of progress and prosperity while at the same time assure happiness all around. This can be possible firstly by acquiring knowledge and capabilities and secondly by employing our very best efforts with a zeal and serve the society and the nature. We as DTU fraternity owe it to our people to work consciously and provide science and technology solution to the pressing problems such as energy scarcity, environmental sustainability, food security, information security and above all personal integrity to make our technological university a major support to the transformation of our great country into a developed nation in the coming years. Let this be the new year resolve of all of us in DTU. We can do it and we must devote ourselves fully to exploit our fullest of innovations and academic abilities. I, on behalf of DTU wish you highly successful year 2010
Prof P. B. Sharma
Vice Chancellor, DTU
