How your college life would’ve been had mobile telephony not existed???????

• You’d have still passed chits in class to communicate instead of SMSing. And if you got caught, the entire class would’ve been audience to your privy conversations.
• The end of the wristwatch era wouldn’t have begun as yet!!
• There would be a long line at T5 or Sec 16 to make a call home. Would wait an hour to find that nobody picked up the phone when you called!!
• No late night chat sessions lasting 4 hours with gf/bf/friend. Long distance relationships might have been less feasible/workable.
• You wouldn’t feel like you‘ve a homing device on you with parents calling up to ask you “Kidhar Ho??”
• Students wouldn’t be in possession of a photo of their Prof’s
butt.(Oops!!)
• Certainly ended up with fewer photos of your college life or perhaps none at all (like many in the previous generation). Maybe all that photography made you a little vain as well!
• Unscared about technology affecting your sperm count. (I am pushing it I know!)
• Fachchas wouldn’t be at their senior’s beck and call at midnight.
• You’d probably have lesser errands to run.
• If a person walking alone and talking (apparently to himself) passed by, you’d still think he was crazy and needed psychiatric help.
• The shoes/watch (and other personal apparel) might still have been the defining style statement.
• Made only a fraction of the visits you made to Sec 16/17 on account of getting a recharge.
• Having wireless headphones would still be a very “Star Trek” thing.
• Remember pagers anybody??? You’d probably have one.
• You’d still be holding up a lighter instead of a cell phone at a concert in appreciation of the performance.
• Finding your friend on campus would’ve been impossible.
• No junk schemes like “YouMint” or “Earn as you SMS” to bug you.
• You’d still use a table top alarm clock to get up. - Ajay goel , Final Year

TO BE OR NOT TO BE

sheto be or not to be
a doctor?
an engineer??
a pyschologist???
nah.. an artist !!
it creates an err..
what to be?
sitting on chair along with Ambai
a Squirrel tittered from the back.
suddenly a thought jumped off my mind.
i can be a doctor
i can be an engineer too
but can i be the Feminist??
being a girl tattered all my emotions,
my parents swirled like a wind
warned me to be like a ‘cattle’
is that what i’m to be?
where do i lack?
where am i wrong?
why my wishes are put to a stop?
am i not a being??
shall i submit myself to the world of evil.
OR
raise the voice and be ‘ME’
Anamika flashes in my mind
Raged in anger, questioned me
How dare you question your gender??
Her rebellion was an epic for me.
Filled my heart with immense power
and erased the question from my mind
